Junk is a social construct

Junk is in the eye of the beholder. Something cannot objectively be "junk." Junk is a lens through which we see things that do not hold value to us. Junk is a projection. It is not a static classification.

If something holds meaning to you, treasure it. Put it on a shelf. In a frame. On the mantle. Put it on display, on a pedestal. Life is full of moments and little scraps, remnants and detritus of our pasts, that shape our futures. Do not let anyone tell you that the things you love are junk.

Seek. Collect. Covet. Treasure. These are highly evolved intellectual responses to our existence in the world. If something means something to you, it means something.
